A pioneering step towards sustainability

Our company has set another important milestone on the road to a sustainable future. By installing a high-performance photovoltaic system at our headquarters in Neuenrade, we are actively investing in environmental protection and reducing our ecological footprint. The commissioning of the new PV system at the Neuenrade site is a pioneering step towards a sustainable energy supply.

Our new PV system has impressive performance characteristics:

• Generator output of 141.95 kWp
• 334 solar modules (425 W output each) on an area of 667.4 m²
• Annual specific yield of 850.36 kWh per kWp
• Share of self-consumption of 72.9
• Avoided CO² emissions 56,733 kg/year

We are particularly proud of the positive impact on the environment. By operating the photovoltaic system, we can cover a significant proportion of our own energy requirements at the Neuenrade site and are now making a significant contribution to climate protection.

With this investment, we are emphasising our commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly production. We see this not only as a technical advancement, but also as an important contribution to a greener future for us all. In addition, we have already decided that our Lübeck and Malta sites will also be equipped with a PV system over the next two years.
