Hidden champion in South Westphalia

‘We are proud and delighted to have been recognised by the SIHK in Hagen as a global market leader in South Westphalia,’ confirms Henrik Fröhlich, member of the management team. The certificate was ceremoniously presented yesterday by SIHK Managing Director Dr Ralf Geruschkat and Matthias Eggers, Member of the State Parliament, at the headquarters in Neuenrade. IBG received the ‘Hidden Champion’ award for its special machinery and plant engineering in the field of automated final vehicle assembly. As a partner to industry, the medium-sized company develops automation solutions and innovative systems for industrial assembly. The customised solutions such as wheel assembly, cockpit assembly, front end assembly, sunroof assembly and seal application are used worldwide.

The IHKs Arnsberg, Siegen and the SIHK zu Hagen have set themselves the task of identifying and honouring the world market leaders among the regional companies. To date, a total of 170 world market leaders are spread across the whole of South Westphalia. ‘With our innovative strength, we make our region one of Germany's leading industrial locations.
