Prange Cup 2024: Battle for rebounds and baskets

On Saturday, 07.09.2024 it was that time again! Our ‘Dunkin'Robots’, the IBG basketball team led by ‘Coach Elias’, won a remarkable 3rd place out of a total of nine teams at this year's Prange Cup 5.0 in Plettenberg with passion and fair play. We congratulate Team-Wälzholz, who prevailed in the knockout round and won this year's tournament with their enormous playing strength.

We congratulate our basketball players on another successful tournament and would like to thank all participating teams and the numerous supporters. We would also like to thank the organisers and the many helping hands in the background who once again managed to put on an unforgettable team sports event and ensure that the tournament ran smoothly!

Looking to the future, coach Elias summarised: “We played a great tournament, my team was physically strong and implemented my tactics very well on the pitch. We definitely rocked the hall! But now that we have finished in 3rd place for the fourth time in a row in our fifth participation, the Dunkin'Robots' objective for the Prange Cup 2025 is very clear - we want to finally put our hands on the trophy and will do everything we can to stand at the top of the podium next year!“
